As Assistant Principal of Instruction for CNCA Burlington, Christopher A. Jackson serves as an instructional leader and supporter for English Language Arts (ELA) and English Language Development (ELD) teachers. Mr. Jackson plans and facilitates professional developments focused on school wide literacy and ELD instruction. Along with the Burlington Leadership Team, Mr. Jackson coordinates school-wide curriculum and assessment implementation including regular student achievement data reporting and analysis. In addition, he monitors ELD students’ progress toward reclassification. Mr. Jackson began his teaching career in Boston, Massachusetts teaching high school English at Boston English High School, one of the first high schools in the United States located in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts. Mr. Jackson is a follower of Christ along with his wife and three children.
Mr. Jackson received his B.A. in English from The University of Iowa and his Ed.M. from Harvard University.
